High-cycle mold
Introducing what needs to be considered for achieving high-cycle molding, including actual conditions within the mold!
This column introduces "high-cycle molds." To achieve high-cycle molding, it is necessary to consider three points: the selection of appropriate cooling equipment, high-cycle molds, and the reduction of lightweight time (ideal plasticization and injection volume). When applied to actual molds, to minimize product dimension variation, it is ideal for the product section of the mold to have turbulent flow, while the cooling piping leading to the mold should have laminar flow. Generally, it is said that low flow = laminar flow and high flow = turbulent flow, but inside actual molds, narrow piping results in turbulent flow, while wide piping results in laminar flow. *For more details on the column, you can view it through the related links.
